It’s easier than it looks

We’re adapting the Miyawaki Method for North Texas, y’all. This technique can transform unused land into dense mini-forests of native species. In the original method, it takes one day of planting, three years of easy maintenance, and the city gets aaaaaall this:

+

Resilience to flooding and drought

+

Low maintenance and upkeep

+

Reduced soil erosion

+

Increased biodiversity

Heck yeah, we can
make a difference

Climate change might seem impossibly big, but Miyawaki-style forests are proven to have an impact. You can plant a tiny oasis that reduces surrounding temperatures, mitigates flooding, and adds biodiversity back into the environment.

Starting small
is the point

Six parking spaces—that’s all you need to create a successful mini-forest. Look around at the concrete and barren landscaping and get fired up about the bird-chirping possibilities.
